Our Operations Managers are dedicated to helping consultants manage their careers. They know the pitfalls of IT consulting, and the training and experience consultants need to succeed in a changing environment.
Ferguson offers consultants a choice between salaried employment and billable hours employment. We provide full pay to salaried consultants for idle time between assignments, although we’ve been successful in keeping bench time to a minimum.
We base compensation on technical expertise, experience and market demand, and we offer real profit sharing. In 2009, we distributed profits resulting in a full share of $3,024 per consultant, and we expect to pay a similar amount in 2010.
